Located in central North Carolina, Sunway Presentation is dedicated to breeding and showcasing exceptional Shetland Sheepdogs and Rough and Smooth Collies. We travel extensively throughout the eastern United States, competing in both specialty and all-breed dog shows. We have companion animals through out the year.

With over 30 years of experience, Nick Joines and Joel McCarty have built a reputation for excellence in breeding and handling AKC show dogs. At Sunway Presentation, we take great pride in presenting top-quality dogs for discerning breeders and owners. Our expertise ensures that each dog is showcased to highlight its finest qualities while being evaluated by knowledgeable judges.

Our Specialties

While we handle various breeds, our primary focus is on Shetland Sheepdogs and Collies. Every year, we exhibit at premier events such as the Collie Club of America National Specialty (CCA) and the American Shetland Sheepdog Association National Specialty (ASSA).

Though we breed and exhibit dogs for conformation shows, many of our dogs also excel in other AKC-sanctioned activities, including:

Collies vs. Shelties: Understanding the Difference

While Collies and Shetland Sheepdogs may appear similar, they are distinct breeds with unique breed standards and temperaments. Both are loyal, intelligent, and wonderful companions—whether in a family setting or with an individual owner. They also tend to get along well with other dogs and cats.

We have dedicated years to refining our breeding program, prioritizing health, temperament, and early socialization. Our puppies are raised with care, ensuring they develop into well-adjusted companions.

All puppies receive:
